This week the Indian Navy is inducting three warships in a single day, all built in India — INS Dunagiri, INS Agray, and INS Sanshodhak. Dunagiri, a Project 17A stealth frigate armed with BrahMos and Barak-8 missiles, will boost India’s dominance in the Indian Ocean. Agray, an Arnala-class anti-submarine vessel, is designed to counter Pakistan’s Hangor-class submarines, timed perfectly with China’s delivery of Hangor to Pakistan. Sanshodhak is a cutting-edge survey ship, a “scanner” of the seabed, joining the fleet just as the Great Nicobar project begins. This shows India’s long-term planning: preparing years in advance for projects and threats. The precision of commissioning Agray exactly when Hangor arrives in Pakistan proves India’s intelligence and strategic foresight are spot on. A proud moment for indigenous defense capability.

In Manmohan Singh’s Congress era, a shocking deal was struck to lease Viper Island — a strategically vital spot — for just ₹1. Had BJP not come to power in 2014, this would have gone unnoticed and completed. Instead, today under BJP, Viper Island is being fortified into a stronghold for national security. For decades, the Gandhi-Nehru family allegedly sought to hand over Andaman, Nicobar, and Coco Islands to foreign powers, with ties to China and economic gains as possible motives, even aiming to erase Savarkar and “Kalapani” from history. Thankfully, Congress lost in 2014, 2019, and 2024, keeping them away from power. Every nationalist voter who prevented Congress from returning deserves gratitude, because their vote safeguarded India’s sovereignty and turned betrayal into strength.

Shiv Sena’s splits didn’t begin with BJP. First, Sharad Pawar pulled away 18 MLAs with Bhujbal. Later, Congress took Narayan Rane and 12 MLAs. Then Raj Thackeray walked out. For 25 years of alliance, BJP never broke Sena MLAs, yet Uddhav felt “we rotted in 35 years of alliance.” He broke ties, claimed CM post, and courted Sonia, Pawar, even Hardik Patel, showering flowers on every Modi opponent. But what did he gain? Today slogans like “50 khoke, ok” and “Minde” echo, with accusations of ED and CBI misuse. Still, the truth is: when a leader treats party as private property and MLAs as chained dogs, splits are inevitable. If Uddhav has courage, he should contest himself and defeat Fadnavis head-on.

Nitin Gadkari’s ethanol-petrol mix policy is raising serious concerns. Petrol costs ₹120 per liter, while ethanol is only ₹65. Yet, when 200 ml ethanol is blended into 800 ml petrol, the entire liter is still sold at ₹120 — meaning ethanol is charged at double its price. If pumps charged correctly, 800 ml petrol at ₹96 plus 200 ml ethanol at ₹12 would total ₹108, saving consumers ₹12 per liter. With India consuming about 1,500 million liters daily, that’s ₹180 crore saved every day, ₹5,400 crore monthly, and a staggering ₹65,700 crore annually. This mismatch looks like a hidden loot. Gadkari must ensure ethanol is priced fairly in blended fuel, so citizens benefit instead of being burdened by inflated costs.

Devendra Fadnavis projects himself as a defender of dharma and culture, yet critics point to contradictions in his own household. His wife’s choice of attire in public events has sparked debate, with opponents arguing that if leaders preach Hindutva, they must first embody discipline and cultural values in personal life. The charge is that BJP treats party loyalty above spiritual principles, forgetting that Hindutva is not just politics but a way of life — rooted in restraint, reflection, and disciplined conduct. As Tukaram said, “Amritachi godi pudhil sangashi, aapan upvasi maroniya” — one cannot preach sweetness while starving oneself.
