Silence and Its Consequences
India’s education and reservation debates are shifting quietly through UGC regulations, committee recommendations, and compliance mandates. These changes intensify competition, raise cut‑offs, and compress merit, leaving general category families anxious about shrinking opportunities. With job scarcity, reforms like Agnipath, and expanding reservation frameworks, the pressure grows heavier. Yet many Savarna influencers—who command reach and credibility—remain silent. Critics argue that neutrality here is not harmless; it legitimizes policy without scrutiny. This call is not against social justice but for balance, transparency, and honest debate. Merit must be protected alongside equity. Influencers who speak on every issue but ignore education risk failing their civic responsibility. Silence today shapes tomorrow’s opportunities. Breaking it is essential—because history records not only actions, but also the quiet consent that allowed them.

Modi–Anwar Ibrahim: Strategic Partnership Beyond Controversies
Anwar Ibrahim’s turbulent past—marked by corruption and sodomy charges, imprisonment, and eventual royal pardon—often overshadows his current role as Malaysia’s Prime Minister since November 2022. Yet India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has engaged with him not over personal history, but to strengthen bilateral ties. In February 2026, Modi visited Malaysia, where both leaders reaffirmed their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They focused on counter‑terrorism, radicalisation, maritime security, and economic collaboration. Eleven MoUs were signed, spanning semiconductors, healthcare, defense, and trade. Modi emphasized deepening defense cooperation, including aircraft sales and technology exchange, while Anwar called the meeting “vital and strategic.” Their engagement reflects India’s pragmatic diplomacy: prioritizing national interest, security, and economic growth over past controversies. It shows how politics often transcends personal histories when nations seek mutual progress.

Politics and the Price of Power
In Nanded district, Maharashtra, a shocking crime revealed the dark extremes of political obsession. Pandurang Kondmangle, a barber aiming to contest for sarpanch, murdered his own seven‑year‑old daughter by throwing her into a canal. The motive was chilling: candidates with more than two children are disqualified, and he believed eliminating one child would secure eligibility. Though rules exempt twins, ignorance and desperation drove him to this act. Assisted by a local sarpanch, he staged her disappearance, but Telangana police traced the body and exposed the crime. The tragedy highlights how the lure of political office can corrupt human values, turning ambition into cruelty. In a society where elections are glorified and power idolized, this case warns of the dangerous distortions politics can create when identity and influence outweigh humanity.

Breaking Barriers: Musahar Girls Drive Bihar’s Pink Buses
In Bihar, the Musahar community has long been marginalized, often stereotyped as “rat catchers.” Yet in 2025, history was made when young Musahar women became the first female drivers of the state’s Pink Bus service—safe public transport for women. On Republic Day in Patna, six of them proudly drove buses in the parade, winning first prize. Among them, Anita mastered heavy vehicles after earning her HMV license, while Baby overcame ridicule about her height to command trucks with ease. Saraswati, supported by her husband, challenged norms that driving is only for men. Ragini, the first graduate driver from her slum, turned taunts into admiration. These women rejected child marriage, endured social scorn, and found mentors like Sudha Varghese and Harjot Kaur who guided them. From February 14, they will drive Bihar’s roads—symbols of courage, dignity, and change.

The Tragic Case of Rajvinder Kaur Gill
Rajvinder Kaur Gill, a brilliant Canadian Sikh of Indian origin, rose to prominence in global finance, serving as Vice President at UBS in Switzerland after working with major banks. Despite her success, family pressure led her to seek marriage through a matrimonial site, where she was deceived by Shahid Ghanzafar, a Pakistani fraudster posing as a Sikh businessman. Trusting him, she resigned from her prestigious job and traveled to Pakistan, lured by promises of a gemstone business. There, she was manipulated into handing over her bank cards and passwords. Soon after, she was murdered, her body never recovered. Ghanzafar fled to Germany, where he faced only fraud charges due to lack of evidence of murder. Rajvinder’s millions were stolen, and justice was denied, leaving her story largely forgotten.
