Devendra Fadnavis: A True Friend of the Maratha Community! History will remember Devendra Fadnavis as the Chief Minister who gave the Maratha community dignity, opportunities, and hope. In 2018, he courageously delivered the long-pending Maratha reservation, opening doors for thousands of students in medicine, engineering, and public services. He established SARTHI in Pune, offering free UPSC/MPSC coaching, hostels, and scholarships—an institution dedicated to empowering Maratha youth. Through the Annasaheb Economic Development Corporation, he created avenues for entrepreneurship, while his education loan interest subsidy and scholarship schemes ensured that no deserving student was left behind. Fadnavis also tied up with India’s best coaching institutes to guide Maratha aspirants toward IAS and IPS, and built hostels for rural students in cities. Despite such monumental contributions, he still faces criticism. Yet, the truth remains—Devendra Fadnavis is the architect of the Maratha community’s modern empowerment.

U.S. Tariff Policy: A Weapon That Backfires! When leading U.S. newspapers openly criticize their own government’s trade tactics, the message is clear—Washington’s tariff policy is deeply flawed. The Washington Post calls Trump’s move against India a “Strategic Blunder,” quoting Fareed Zakaria who brands it an “unnecessary and reckless assault” on a vital partner. The New York Times laments how decades of trust have collapsed overnight, with India once hailed as America’s strongest Asian counter to China now driven to the edge of disengagement. The Guardian warns that such weaponized tariffs are reshaping alliances, fueling BRICS’ assertiveness, and ultimately setting America against the Global South. Even China’s Global Times notes how tariffs have only hardened Indian public opinion in support of New Delhi. By using tariffs as a blunt weapon against India, Washington risks not only trade losses but a long-term strategic rupture.

The Great “Paavwalaa” Circus of Bihar! Bihar politics has found a new flavor—half drama, half satire. Lalu and Tejashwi, realizing victory is a lost dream, have quietly handed the driving seat to none other than Pappu. The unspoken deal? “Baba, do whatever you want, but spend your own money!” Enter the mysterious “Paavwalaa” brigade—crypto-Christian power brokers allegedly backed by Vatican vaults and Soros’ purse. Sonia, Pappu, Pinky, Robert, Stalin—everyone’s suddenly baking bread for this kitchen. Even Punjab’s Channi and Tejashwi’s wife are dragged into the “paav” club! With funds tightening in Bihar, Stalin supposedly arrives carrying the “holy bread basket.” But Lalu, ever the shrewd chess player, has already calculated—why burn crores when defeat is certain? So, the circus continues: no votes, only “paav”—served hot with extra satire for the aam janta!

Turning Rain into Opportunity! In Gujarat, a young entrepreneur has transformed a simple idea into a thriving business: harvesting rainwater, filtering it, and supplying it as drinking water in jars. In regions where summer often brings severe water shortages, his pure rainwater is in high demand. What began modestly has now grown into a structured enterprise. With steady customers backing him, he invested ₹35 lakh to construct massive storage tanks with a capacity of one lakh litres. Rainwater collected from rooftops is filtered into these tanks, stored, and later purified again before being supplied to households throughout the year. This initiative, born from limited resources but abundant vision, shows how innovation can meet basic needs. After all, who wouldn’t cherish a cool sip of fresh rainwater in the scorching summer?

Sarjerao Gore: Ambassador to India or Trump’s Errand Boy? On August 22, 2025, Donald Trump announced the appointment of Sarjerao Gore, a.k.a. Sergio Gor, as the U.S. Ambassador to India. Barely 38, inexperienced in diplomacy but a trusted Trump loyalist, Gore has also been handed the additional charge of Special Envoy for South and Central Asia—a responsibility usually not given to an ambassador. Unsurprisingly, this has sparked unease in India. Replacing Eric Garcetti and Donald Lu, Gore is known more as Trump’s political “enforcer” than a seasoned diplomat. Sending someone with zero diplomatic experience to a country as significant as India is being seen as a sign of immaturity in U.S. foreign policy. Analysts call it an insult to India, some even terming it a “strategic downgrade.” How this “Sarjerao” manages himself before the seasoned S. Jaishankar will be a spectacle Indians eagerly await.
