OBCs once trusted the government to protect their reservation, but instead every brick of that wall was dismantled. Representation in local bodies was erased, fake OBC candidates were propped up, and parallel quotas blocked genuine OBCs from open category jobs. Even when courts struck down such moves, hidden government orders kept closing doors. Ministers and MLAs were handed posts, but the real issues remained untouched. Today, Marathas access multiple categories while OBCs are restricted only to their own, with no open category path. BJP claims its DNA is OBC, yet decisions steadily weaken OBC rights. No party stands firmly for them; leaders settle, protests remain reactive. The time has come for OBCs to step back, observe, and let the government realize their true value.

TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee’s alleged “attack” in Sonarpur looked more like theatre than threat. Videos showed minor scuffles, followed by him resting at home with a scarf on his head, while Mamata Banerjee rushed for a photo-op. The scene echoed Anil Deshmukh’s staged assault in 2024, later exposed in court as fake. Banerjee, known for dramatic slogans and mimicry, hasn’t filed a police complaint—just as Abhishek Banerjee didn’t after his own “egg-and-stone” incident. Police have already arrested a TMC worker, suggesting the episode was orchestrated internally to build a narrative of leaders under attack. The aim seems clear: project victimhood, blame BJP, and gain sympathy. But the pattern of self-staged drama exposes TMC’s reliance on theatrics rather than genuine political strength.

A Times Now Navbharat report claims thousands of illegal Bangladeshi migrants are leaving India daily, especially from West Bengal. Videos show many without valid documents riding train rooftops back to Bangladesh, while others wait near border posts in districts like 24 Parganas, Jalpaiguri, and Murshidabad. Though holding centers exist, fear keeps them outside until entry is granted. CM Suvendu Adhikari has warned infiltrators to return voluntarily or face forced deportation, prompting crowds at borders. The state has also begun cracking down on fake Aadhaar, PAN, and ration card providers to trace hidden migrants. Meanwhile, Bihar residents near Bengal borders have urged their CM to tighten security to prevent spillover. Citizens joining the “Bangladeshi Hatao” push signals growing public resolve against infiltration.

Historian Ramachandra Guha, once a sharp critic of BJP and Modi, has now turned his fire on Congress and Rahul Gandhi. In a recent statement, he listed 8–9 points attacking the party, calling Congress a “family-owned enterprise” and describing its leaders and followers as “sycophants.” His blunt words shook the political space, though Congress quickly rejected the criticism and instead targeted Guha himself. The larger question remains: will Rahul Gandhi and Congress ever engage in genuine self-reflection? Most likely not, since the party insists it never makes mistakes. This refusal to introspect keeps Congress trapped in denial, unable to reform or rebuild credibility. Guha’s critique highlights the deep rot within, but Congress seems determined to ignore it rather than confront uncomfortable truths.

In Sonarpur, South 24 Parganas, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee faced eggs, stones, and scuffles that tore his shirt. Taken to a government hospital, doctors found only minor scratches and refused admission, angering him as he wanted dramatic “serious” coverage. He accused doctors of collusion and claimed BJP plotted to kill him. Mamata Banerjee raised law-and-order concerns, while Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal quickly voiced alarm, seizing political mileage. Later, police detained six people—revealed to be workers of ex-TMC MLA Lovely Maitra—exposing the incident as an internal TMC drama staged for sympathy. BJP called it pure theatrics, though their reactions lacked conviction. The episode highlights TMC’s Congress-style theatrics: orchestrated outrage, denial when caught, and shamelessness even in exposure.
