Terror in the Name of Faith

The revelations emerging after the November 10, 2025 Red Fort attack in Delhi expose the grotesque hypocrisy of terror groups. Reports suggest the slain bomber, Dr. Umar, clashed with his associates over whether to follow ISIS-style brutality or Al-Qaeda’s methods. Imagine the depravity: their only disagreement was not about sparing innocent lives, but about how best to kill them. Cloaking murder in religious rhetoric, they preach peace while practicing carnage. This contradiction is the ultimate fraud—promising paradise while delivering hell on earth. No scripture sanctifies slaughter; no faith condones bloodshed. Terrorists may deceive followers with visions of heavenly reward, but their legacy is only destruction and damnation. Humanity must reject their falsehoods and reaffirm that true religion, stripped of violence, is rooted in compassion and dignity.

Politics Over Justice in Arnab Khairé Case

The tragic death of 19-year-old Arnab Khairé on November 19 has exposed the hollow face of political opportunism. While the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) swiftly demanded justice—its local leader Yogesh Gawhane meeting senior police officials on November 21—the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chose theatrics over substance. On November 22, BJP MLA Amit Satam staged a dramatic protest in Dadar, far from Arnab’s home in Kalyan, where the real accountability lies. The BJP’s Kalyan unit has neither submitted a memorandum to police nor pressed for action, preferring symbolic gestures to genuine advocacy. When a party exploits the death of an innocent youth for political mileage, it signals moral bankruptcy. Justice demands sincerity, not spectacle. If politics reduces itself to stunts, it ceases to serve the people it claims to represent.

A Code of Conduct for the Warkari Tradition

In Maharashtra, the revered Warkari tradition has taken a decisive step to safeguard its spiritual integrity. Against the backdrop of controversial statements by some kirtankars and preachers, the century-old Swanand Sukhnivasi Sadguru Jog Maharaj Warkari Education Institute at Alandi has introduced a 14-point code of conduct for its students. This pledge emphasizes deep study of saint literature, pure personal conduct, rejection of commercializing kirtan, and commitment to social responsibility. The aim is clear: future kirtankars must embody discipline, humility, and devotion, guiding society with dignity rather than chasing fame or profit. In recent years, sensational remarks and material temptations have tarnished the Warkari image. By reinstating its core philosophy of compassion and collective harmony, this initiative seeks not only to reform individual lives but also to restore the sanctity of a tradition rooted in peace.

Loyalty Alone Cannot Win Elections

In Indian politics, the Bharatiya Janata Party often faces criticism no matter what choice it makes. If a newcomer is given a ticket, loyalists cry foul, claiming betrayal. If a seasoned worker is chosen over heavyweight entrants, detractors accuse the party of exploiting grassroots support with false promises. The truth is that in today’s political climate, mere loyalty is not enough to secure victory. Voters demand candidates with electability—those who can wield influence, resources, and strategy. Electoral merit now rests on the ability to deploy persuasion, finance, and organizational power, not just ideological commitment. Parties that ignore this reality risk irrelevance, as seen in failed experiments like Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj. Politics rewards capability, not sentiment; survival depends on pragmatic strength rather than nostalgic appeals to loyalty.

The Silence Over Anand Thampi’s Death

The tragic story of Anand Thampi, a devoted RSS volunteer and staunch BJP worker, reveals the dark underbelly of political opportunism. Despite dedicating his life to the Sangh and BJP, he was denied a ticket in Kerala’s local body elections, sidelined in favor of a wealthy “soil mafia” candidate with no ideological roots. Undeterred, Anand filed as an independent, only to face relentless threats and intimidation—allegedly from within the very party he once served. His final WhatsApp messages expose his anguish and disillusionment, even forbidding BJP or RSS members from touching his body. Yet, the party’s response has been chilling silence: no condemnation, no mourning, no accountability. When loyalty ends in betrayal and death, politics loses its moral compass. Pretending virtue while ignoring injustice is hypocrisy at its worst.
