The Oil Game Behind Middle East Chaos
The turbulence across Iran, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Syria is not random—it is orchestrated. Beneath the rhetoric of sectarian divides and geopolitical rivalries lies a single, combustible truth: oil. Control of energy routes and reserves has long been the lever of power, and today’s conflicts are shaped by that same calculus. Proxy wars, sanctions, and interventions are less about ideology than about pipelines and markets. Venezuela’s strangulation is another chapter in this script—its vast reserves locked away under economic siege, ensuring that global supply remains under the grip of select powers. The chaos is not accidental; it is a strategy. Nations are pawns in a larger contest where barrels of crude dictate alliances, betrayals, and wars. Until oil loses its throne, peace will remain hostage.

The Perils of Forgetting the Ground
Sachin Ahire once held promise as a grassroots leader. In the last election, he secured 1,300 votes but lost by a margin of five to six hundred. That defeat was not inevitable—eight years offered ample time to strengthen his ward, to walk every street, to meet every household. Instead, the lure of social media consumed him. The digital spotlight replaced the hard grind of local presence, and the foundation of his ward was neglected. Entangled in party mudslinging, his credibility eroded. What could have been a steady rise as a respected social worker ended in political decline. This is not just personal tragedy; it is a warning for democracy. When leaders abandon real people for virtual applause, society loses its anchor, and politics loses its soul.

Mumbai’s Dabbawalas and Broken Promises
Mumbai’s dabbawalas are not outsiders—they are 100% Marathi sons of the soil, rooted in the Warkari tradition of discipline, humility, and devotion. For over a century, they have carried the city’s lifeline with unmatched punctuality and honesty. Yet politics has often betrayed them. In 2017, Shiv Sena promised a company, financial aid, parking facilities, education, healthcare, and even a Dabbawala Bhavan. None materialized. Instead, resources were diverted to personal trusts and memorials, leaving the dabbawalas neglected. In contrast, the Fadnavis government has honored commitments: approving housing under PMAY, sanctioning funds for Dabbawala Bhavan, and inaugurating an International Experience Center to celebrate their 135-year legacy. For the dabbawalas, this marks recognition long overdue. Their support for Mahayuti reflects not just politics, but a demand for dignity and delivery.

The Politics of Endless Party-Hopping
Indian politics often rewards persistence, but sometimes persistence is confused with opportunism. One leader’s journey—from Shetkari Sanghatana with Raju Shetti, to Sambhaji Brigade, NCP, Swarajya Party, Congress photo-ops in Bharat Jodo Yatra, Delhi’s farmer protests, and finally the BJP—illustrates this blur. After traversing so many platforms, she now lands a Pune Municipal Corporation ticket. Supporters call it a “15-year struggle,” but can constant party-switching truly be called struggle? In democracy, credibility is built on consistency, not on hopping from ideology to ideology. Past controversies, including objections to her OBC certificate after contesting in Gevrai, further cloud the narrative. When loyalty becomes negotiable, politics risks becoming a marketplace of tickets rather than a forum of principles. The question remains: is this ambition or conviction?

Politics Without Morality
In politics, defeat often exposes the true character of a candidate. When a losing contender vents publicly, their career collapses—no party embraces those who cannot master restraint. Patience is the finest jewel in politics, yet few possess the armor required: the hide of a rhino, the tolerance of a courtesan, the brain of an elephant, sugar on the tongue, and ice on the scalp. Without these, politics devours ambition. Morality, meanwhile, is a word used only for speeches, never for practice. Strip away appearances, and all are naked beneath their clothes—civilized only when opportunity is absent. As Christ said, “Let the one without sin cast the first stone.” None did. That silence remains the truest mirror of political life: hypocrisy cloaked as virtue, survival dressed as principle.
